Francis is also the Head Physiotherapist for APIA Leichardt Sydney’s Women’s Football program. On the weekends he attends their games for sideline treatment and injury management. Through this he has toured internationally with their teams where they have played the likes of AC Milan.
Francis takes a holistic approach to diagnosis and treatment to make sure that all factors leading to an injury are targeted, leading to the best possible outcome for rehabilitation. Regardless of the condition being treated, Francis never wants to see a person for the same condition twice, meaning he does his best to ensure you are provided with the right care and tools to make your injury history.
Francis also places great value in client trust. He is open with communicating and setting realistic treatment goals and helping to keep you accountable for achieving them. Francis understands that the trust you place in him to guide your recovery must be met with an even greater commitment from him to achieve your goals. Through this, he becomes invested in each and every client’s individual rehab progression regardless of whether it is a major or minor condition.
Treatment with Francis consists of one-on-one appointments where you are the sole focus. Francis will use his diverse skills in passive modalities such as soft tissue release, joint mobilisations, stretches and dry needling to help manage pain symptoms. Once you are ready to progress, he will provide you with a home program of carefully tailored exercises, stretches and mobility based exercises that will aim to help with self-management, but also empower you to take control of your rehab. These exercises and movements will help build strength and range where needed so that you have the best chance of full recovery.
Once Francis has finished his day he returns home to his wife and two daughters who he enjoys taking out for bike rides, park visits, or just entertaining them at home with their Lego and Barbie collections.
