Sonaali Sivakumar
Reception
Sonaali is a student currently pursuing a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney, while also working towards her Pilates Teaching Certification. Her journey into the health and fitness industry has been shaped by her interest in having an overall active lifestyle. These days, she finds joy in the gym and enjoys doing Reformer Pilates, with plans to get back into running soon. Outside of her academic life, Sonaali has an interest in cooking, especially experimenting with her mother’s Indian recipes, and also enjoys reading.
Sonaali is deeply committed to women’s health, an area she hopes to specialise in as a Women’s Health Physiotherapist in the future. She is passionate about working with women across all ages and life stages, hoping to help them achieve optimal physical health and wellbeing. Her goal is to empower women to lead active, pain-free lives, no matter where they are in their journey.
In addition to her studies, Sonaali works as a receptionist at Precision Health Clinics, where she balances her academic schedule with administration work. On weekends, she contributes to the sports community as a Sports Trainer for the Castle Hill Rockets Premier League Grade 1 and Reserve teams. This role allows her to apply her knowledge of physiotherapy, helping the team with injury prevention and management.
