Can I claim my private health insurance rebate at the clinic?

Does Medicare pay for my treatment?
Medicare can only be billed a total of 5 times per calendar year, dependant upon your treating doctor’s referral to our clinic or it’s practitioners. This is called the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan; consult your GP for further information.
How much do I have to pay for my consultations?
If you have private health insurance your gap payment will be based on the level of cover of your membership. This varies from $15-40. For patients under WorkCover or CTP claims the insurer will cover the cost of your treatment as well as any Evidence Based items you may require. We are able to process all health fund and Medicare claims on the spot with our HICAPS terminal.
What if I have forgotten my private health insurance card?
Unfortunately we are unable to use your membership number through our HICAPS facility. We will print or email an invoice which will allow you to claim online or via your health funds smartphone application.
